1983 – Ausnahmezustand in Ayacucho (Peru). Das politisch-militärische Kommando errichtet seine Operationsbasis im Militärstützpunkt „Los Cabitos“. Dieser Stützpunkt entwickelt sich schnell zum geheimen Zentrum für Gefangennahme, Folter, gewaltsames Verschwindenlassen und extralegale Hinrichtungen von Zivilpersonen, die verdächtigt wurden, dem Leuchtenden Pfad anzugehören.
