Finitud y Culpabilidad

In October 2019, one of the most important social demonstrations of recent years broke out in Chile. The country that had promised “never again” to violate human rights, responded with a violent repression. The director is a Chilean-Spanish citizen and has followed the demonstrations from Barcelona: “Observing from afar, I could feel the anger, the pain and the hope of Chilean people in my own body.” The video piece takes its title from Paul Ricoeur’s book, Finitude and Guilt (1960), which investigates the experience of human evil.
