Ten-year-old Andréa watches as her mother, who takes passport photos as a side job, prepares an elderly woman for her close-up. Andréa’s great-grandmother lives with them and needs to be looked after. When Andréa has to get her the medicines from the pharmacy, she is informed that they are no longer available for free. She begins to see the world with different eyes.
